Brief Introduction
A local livery approached us via an online enquiry through our website requesting aid in specifying and installing a brand new, high-end cattery. The requirements, as per the client’s needs, necessitated a top quality finish that was a long lasting, hygienic resin flooring system as well as being aesthetically pleasing.

Overview:
The cattery was being built to cater to high-end clients and as such the finished floor needed to look impressive and instil a sense of confidence in the facilities. Equally important was that the resin floor was hygienic where appropriate, such as underneath the animal cages ensuring the facility was fit for purpose.
For this reason we recommended and installed Flowcrete’s Flowshield FX for the walkways and Flowfresh SL for where the cages would be placed. We felt this would provide the high-end finish and hygienic floor the client required.
RCS provided an initial consultation and floor specification followed by correct substrate preparation prior to application of the two flooring systems. As the client had no prior experience with resin products we provided numerous bespoke samples and additional consultations. Finally we tailored the project to suit his budget and time-frame as well as liaising with other contractors on site to ensure smooth operations.
Upon completion of the project the client was very happy and our aftercare arrangement was agreed.
