Brief Introduction
The NHS approached us via an online enquiry through our website requesting aid in refurbishing a 400sqm decontamination unit based in Liverpool. The requirements, as per the client’s needs, necessitated a bright coloured finish that was a long lasting, durable resin flooring system as well as being slip resistant.

Overview:
The cattery was being built to cater to high-end clients and as such the finished floor needed to look impressive and instil a sense of confidence in the facilities. Equally important was that the resin floor was hygienic where appropriate, such as underneath the animal cages ensuring the facility was fit for purpose.
Prep was undertaken using HTC’s Duratiq 8 to lift previous paint layer and 16sqm of vinyl. This was completed along with application of EPW base coat during day one. Subsequent coats of Flowcoat SF41 (High-build Epoxy) in both Red and Yellow were applied in subsequent days with a top coat of anti-slip.
Upon completion of the project the client was very happy and our aftercare arrangement was agreed.
